Description

Easter tags created for invited guests to an Easter Egg hunt. I thought tags would be more appropriate for keeps as opposed to cards.

Instructions

1. Colour the background of the tag using Tim Holtz’ distressed inkpad. I use broken china and peeled paint.

2. Spritz the card with water and allow it to dry. You get a mottled effect.

3. Stamp script image on the top upper left of the tag. Stamp swirl image on the bottom of the tag. Stamp ‘happy’ sentiment randomly on the tag.

4. Stamp Unity egg and snail images on a plain white cardstock and colour using an alcohol-based marker (I used Promarkers). Stamp ‘easter’ on a patterned paper and cut out.

5. Cut out a border for the tag and using a scissors, cut small snips into one edge of the paper at regular intervals all the way along its length. Adhere to the bottom of the tag.

6. Add lace on top of the border and adhere the snail towards the left end of the lace.

7. Tuck the egg behind the border, towards the right side of the tag.

8. Cut a cloud from a music sheet, inked the edges and adhere it at the top of the tag.

9. Adhere the ‘Easter’ sentiment next to the egg.

10. Finish off the tag by tying fibres to the top of the tag.
