~USE A PHOTOGRAPH
ON YOUR CARD FRONT~
Let's go! Create a card using a photograph on your card front. Maybe you have a photo of a weird looking tree, or a snowy mountain, or your kid acting goofy...use it on your card front! If you can't seem to find the right picture to use, check out krazydad.com where they have all kinds of pictures sorted by color.
Be sure to link us all to your card, in the comments section. Go bold, get funky, make it elegant, or just be weird! Caardvark challenges will be twice per month, using a different technique or card element for every challenge. The challenges will be announced on the 5th and 20th of every month...so be sure to bookmark this blog and check back!!
Sarah and Jen will review all of the entries, looking for the most delicious and unique card. The *winner* of this challenge will be announced on Monday, March 19th, so please have your card linked to us by Saturday the 17th. The winner will be RAK'd and offered the opportunity to be Caardvark's Guest Designer for the next challenge! We can't wait to see what you all drum up.
We've created a few cards to get us rolling - check them out! We've also enlisted the help of our friend and mixed media artist, Gina. She provided us with some inspiration with her baby card (how precious is that card!) and a wedding card. Now we're ready to see what you drum up!

Hi Jenifur...
You need to fiddle with your html and make the size for the main frame to 450. Your letters are cut off...
I have mine on 450, float left.
I have my sidebar on 220, float right. That will create more space...
I will put a link to your blog on mine, and would appreciate a link to mine on yours... grin
Great idea!!!!
I will try to jump in as much as I can!
Love your title!!!! What a great idea to use the big letters...
LOVE the title. This looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing with the Club Scrap group!
This sounds so great!!! I have been working on creating many cards so I have them readily available and I usually make 5 or more of the same design just in case. This I think will give me even more ideas and challenges.
I LOVE this idea! I am so bookmarking it!

may I cheat and use a card I've already created with a photo on it?
If so, here are 3 entries! :)

(in my november blog)
This looks like a lot of fun. Here's a card I did recently that I think meets the criteria. I made it from a photo leftover from a scrapbook layout. You can see it at http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/layouts/layout_images/1078150-3.jpg
Hopefully I can get some more done to add to the challenge.
Welcome ladies!!
Chelsea, the link you provided isn't working for me. :( I wanna seeeeee!
mamabug, that picture is so touching! It could work on many different cards.
I want to post some of your cards....let's see them! :)

Jen, see if that works--it looks like some of the address was being cut off....sorry. :)

Jen, it's still being cut off--I think it's something wrong with the HTML framing.
anyway--I'm breaking it up here

Hi Kay! I left praise at 2peas for your card - it's great! Love the oranges. Here's the full link to your card at 2peas so others can see it:

2peas is a great place to post a card and link it here, or any other public gallery. Or......you may want to start your own blog, post your cards on your blog, and link us to them.
